Baseball Recap: Rouse Comes Up Short

Rouse and Smithson Valley squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Rouse had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 3-2. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rangers earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Rouse's defeat dropped their record down to 23-9-2. As for Smithson Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Rouse nor Smithson Valley have any future games scheduled.
