Volleyball Recap: Plainville Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Plainville extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sadie Brann. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northwest Catholic Lions on Friday for which the team can thank Brann, who had ten digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

While Plainville might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Northwest Catholic scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

Plainville's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Northwest Catholic, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Plainville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
