Volleyball Recap: Unity Reed Comes Up Short

Unity Reed was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Patriot Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-17.

Unity Reed's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Patriot, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Unity Reed will face off against rival Battlefield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Patriot is set to challenge their familiar foe Osbourn Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
