Baseball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan fell victim to Fort Calhoun and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Pioneers. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Fort Calhoun, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bryan will take on rival Creighton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fort Calhoun is set to square off against their familiar foe Thurston-Cuming County on Tuesday.
