Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.92 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 14-0 to the Academy of Holy Angels Stars. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Academy of Holy Angels, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will welcome Highland Park at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy of Holy Angels, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Roseville at 4:30 p.m.
