            Basketball Recap: Tamarac Bengals vs. Hoosick Falls Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Tamarac and Hoosick Falls squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Tamarac had to settle for second. They took  a  52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoosick Falls Panthers. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Bengals in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

 Despite the loss, Tamarac still got an impressive performance from   Sam Kuiken, who  shot 62% from the field en route to 20 points and five  boards. Kuiken continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Owen Glynn, who  posted five  points and five  rebounds.
Tamarac's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Hoosick Falls, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-3.
 Tamarac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hoosick Falls, they have already played their next match,  a  52-41  loss against Greenville on the 3rd.
