Arroyo has gone a perfect 10-0 against El Monte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Arroyo will venture away from home to challenge El Monte at 3:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, El Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to South El Monte.

With that tie, Arroyo's record moves to 6-4-1. As for El Monte, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Arroyo's way against El Monte when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Arroyo made off with a 14-2 win. Will Arroyo repeat their success, or does El Monte has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
