Soccer Recap: Grand River Prep Comes Up Short

Grand River Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Kelloggsville Rockets. Grand River Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kelloggsville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Grand River Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kelloggsville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Grand River Prep will host Zion Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Zion Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Grand River Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kelloggsville, they will square off against Calvin Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
