Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Thomas Heyward Academy

Thomas Heyward Academy barely beat Beaufort Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels blew past the Eagles 9-2 on Tuesday. Nine seems to be a good number for the Rebels as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The win (which was Thomas Heyward Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Beaufort Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Thomas Heyward Academy will head out to take on Colleton Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaufort Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cross at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stingrays have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
