Soccer Recap: Monadnock Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Monadnock was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wilton-Lyndeborough this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in September.

Monadnock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-3. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Monadnock will square off against Farmington/Nute at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they will challenge Concord Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
