Blue Ridge extended the longest winning streak in VISFA Old Dominion this week by beating Covenant, 20-13. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
North Cross led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Hargrave Military Academy. Max Revercomb threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns and ran for one yards in the win.
Shawn Steen was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 117 yards as Blue Ridge bested the Tigers. Teammate PJ White added to the ground attack by rushing for 65 yards.
Draper was the best wideout in VISFA Old Dominion this week as North Cross topped Hargrave Military Academy. Draper tallied three receptions for 100 yards. Jordan Lowery helped North Cross' passing attack out by catching six balls for 51 yards.
The Raiders' Revercomb and Lowery have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Revercomb has thrown for 931 yards this season, while Lowery, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 22 catches for 319 yards. The Eagles' Jamie Gaston leads the league in rushing yards with 687.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when North Cross takes on St. Anne's-Belfield. The Raiders are in fifth place, while the Saints are in sixth place.
Orlando Patterson's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,597 from 5,649. The improvement was the result of 20-13 victory over Covenant last week.
