Legacy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Centaurus Warriors 15-2. The Lightning might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Jason Olsen and Kellen Reiser did most of the damage at the plate: Olsen went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Reiser went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Reiser is becoming a predictor of Legacy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Christopher Jewett, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Legacy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Centaurus, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
