Basketball Recap: Raytyrion Narcisse's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Martinville over Breaux Bridge

St. Martinville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breaux Bridge Tigers. St. Martinville was probably out for revenge after losing 52-49 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Martinville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Raytyrion Narcisse, who made all 6 shots he took for 13 points and five boards. That's the most points Narcisse has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Makharee Narcisse, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

St. Martinville's record is now 2-8. As for Breaux Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the St. Martinville Tigers take on the Central Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Breaux Bridge, they will take on South Beauregard in a tournament on Saturday.
