Football Game Preview: New Holstein Huskies vs. Spencer/Columbus Rockets

The New Holstein Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spencer/Columbus Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

New Holstein easily dispatched Kiel two weeks ago, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Huskies fell just short of St. Mary Catholic by a score of 23-20 on Friday. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Spencer/Columbus waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 14-6 win over the Red Raiders. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Rockets have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

New Holstein's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Spencer/Columbus, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
