Recap: Prairie View Thunderhawks vs. Rocky Mountain Lobos
The Prairie View Thunderhawks lost against the Rocky Mountain Lobos back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Prairie View lost to Rocky Mountain on the road by a decisive 58-42 margin.
Despite the loss, Prairie View still got an impressive performance from Javon Brewton, who scored 21 points. The contest was Brewton's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Angel Rodriguez, who scored six points.
Prairie View bumped their record down to 4-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Rocky Mountain, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
Prairie View will head out on the road to face off against Northglenn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rocky Mountain, they will be playing at home against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Fairview is ranked 127th, while Rocky Mountain is ranked 149th).
