Volleyball Recap: Lydia Williams and Embry Carlton Secure Win for New Covenant + How To Watch

New Covenant's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gryphons have posted since October 11, 2024.

New Covenant was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 19-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Leading New Covenant to victory were Embry Carlton and Lydia Williams. Carlton had 15 digs and one assist, while Williams had eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs Carlton has posted since back in October of 2024.
