Flag Football Recap: Aliso Niguel Skates Past San Juan Hills with Ease

Aliso Niguel not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 45-12). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the San Juan Hills Stallions 27-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolverines' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Stallions are ranked 346th).

Aliso Niguel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Addison Rudel and Brynn Seager.

Aliso Niguel's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for San Juan Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Aliso Niguel will take on Beckman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Juan Hills, they will square off against Trabuco Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Stallions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
