Volleyball Recap: Piney Woods Comes Up Short

Piney Woods lost against Salem on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornadoes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-8.

Piney Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Salem, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6.

Piney Woods wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Mississippi School for the Deaf on the 2nd. As for Salem, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Taylorsville on the 2nd.
