Basketball Recap: Flowery Branch Takes a Loss

Flowery Branch lost against North Oconee back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Flowery Branch Falcons took a blow against the North Oconee Titans, falling 81-35. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Flowery Branch has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for North Oconee, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Flowery Branch will be home for the holidays to greet East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Oconee, they and McDonough will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. North Oconee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully McDonough likes a good challenge.
