It's playoff time, and Evergreen had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Huron Tigers a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Evergreen now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Huron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Evergreen will take on Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Bears will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
