Softball Recap: Haven Wildcats vs. Lyons Lions
Haven had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Lyons Lions 13-1. Haven might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 14 games by seven runs or more this season.
Trista Rogers was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rogers was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Morgan O'Neal was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sadie Estill, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Haven pushed their record up to 21-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Lyons, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
