Warhill had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Grafton Clippers by a score of 71-60. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 58-49 win the Clippers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warhill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shamar McCray, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 15 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Charlie Archibald, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Warhill was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grafton only racked up eight.

Evan Cruea and Luke Wenger certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cruea went 7-for-13 en route to 21 points, while Wenger posted ten points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan West, who had five points and six rebounds.
