Basketball Recap: Brady Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Aiva Farris and Samerra Reed

Brady lost against Ingram Moore back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brady Bulldogs fell to the Ingram Moore Warriors 28-22.

Brady's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Samerra Reed, who went 5 of 6 to rack up 11 points and six rebounds, and Aiva Farris, who posted five points along with eight boards and three steals. Farris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played.

Even though they lost, Brady smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Brady's loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Ingram Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Brady wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-15 win against Comfort on the 4th. As for Ingram Moore, they have also already played their next contest, a 43-23 victory against Florence on the 4th.
