Soccer Game Preview: Guyer vs. Hebron

The Guyer Wildcats will face off against the Hebron Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Guyer fell victim to Coppell and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Hebron sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Marcus on Friday.

Hebron is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Guyer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything went Guyer's way against Hebron when the teams last played back in January, as Guyer made off with a 4-0 victory. Will Guyer repeat their success, or does Hebron have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
