Preview: Indian Creek Eagles vs. Academy for College and Career Exploration
Indian Creek has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Academy for College and Career Exploration at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Indian Creek has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 387 points over their last six games.
Indian Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 86-64 margin over Kent County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Aiden Evans continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Indian Creek's points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Harvin, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-14, which was the final score in Academy for College and Career Exploration's tilt against Carver Vo-Tech last Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Academy for College and Career Exploration has scored all season.
Indian Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Academy for College and Career Exploration, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
