Basketball Game Preview: Alta Loma Braves vs. San Dimas Saints

Alta Loma is 1-8 against San Dimas since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Alta Loma Braves will be playing at home against the San Dimas Saints at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Alta Loma didn't have too much trouble with South Hills as they won 70-55. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Huskies are ranked 859th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Dimas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 66-59 win over South Hills on Wednesday.

San Dimas is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Alta Loma, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
