Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cedar Park

Cedar Park entered their tilt with Rouse on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 48-35. The Timberwolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

David Cooper produced another solid performance rushing for 104 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 177 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Lucas Viloria was another key player, rushing for 46 yards and three scores.

Rouse lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Anthony Reyes, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubryn Davis, who gained 107 total yards and a touchdown.

Cedar Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rouse, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Cedar Park will face off against East View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves' defense better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 33.2 points per game this season. As for Rouse, they will head out on the road to face off against Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
