Cordell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grandfield Bearcats. One positive for the Blue Devils, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cordell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Grandfield, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-11.

Cordell has already played their next game (against Mangum), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Grandfield Bearcats duke it out with the Tipton Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Grandfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
