Flag Football Recap: California Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but California had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They snuck past the Granada Matadors with a 12-6 win. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Matadors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Among those leading the charge was Caeli AuYeung, who threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of her passes. What's more, she racked up 26 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in September.

California's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Granada, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

California has already played their next matchup, a 14-7 victory against San Ramon Valley on the 21st. Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
