Telfair County blew Berrien out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Berrien got their revenge. The Trojans fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 39-36. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Telfair County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Berrien, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Telfair County will be playing at home against Lanier County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berrien, they will head out to challenge Clinch County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
