Baseball Recap: Milton Hershey Comes Up Short

Milton Hershey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Harrisburg Cougars. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Milton Hershey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was EJ Matus, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Milton Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harrisburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milton Hershey will challenge rival Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harrisburg is set to take on their familiar foe East Pennsboro at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
