There's no place like home for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Christ's Church Academy Eagles 6-5. This was payback for the Golden Eagles, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dominic Craig looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Robert Bryson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Ward, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

The win snapped Paxon School For Advanced Studies' losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-7 record. As for Christ's Church Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

As for Christ's Church Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against First Coast Christian on the 14th.
