Recap: Potomac Falls Panthers vs. Heritage Pride
The Potomac Falls Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Heritage 75-59. Given Potomac Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Heritage is ranked 377th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Marshall, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Colby Margenau, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Potomac Falls pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Heritage, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Potomac Falls will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Park View at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Heritage will be home for the holidays to greet Woodgrove at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
