Soccer Game Preview: Clear Springs vs. Montgomery

The Clear Springs Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Montgomery Bears at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

If Montgomery heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Clear Springs took over last week. Clear Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against George Ranch on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Montgomery narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Magnolia 2-1. The Bears' winning goal came courtesy of Jace Mcwhirter.

Clear Springs' victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for Montgomery, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Clear Springs beat Montgomery by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2019, winning 1-0. Does Clear Springs have another victory up their sleeve, or will Montgomery turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
