Basketball Game Preview: Argyle Scots vs. Whitehall Railroaders

Argyle and Whitehall are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Argyle Scots will welcome the Whitehall Railroaders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Argyle has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Whitehall will come in with 12 straight wins.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-29, which was the final score in Argyle's tilt against Cambridge on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the N/A are ranked 286th).

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Whitehall ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 56-52 W over Hoosick Falls.

Whitehall's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Argyle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
