Desert Sunrise came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Tempe, but Arthur Murphy wouldn't allow it. The Tempe Buffaloes breezed by the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks to the tune of 68-35 on Thursday thanks in part to Murphy, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Deryke Tucker, who posted seven points in addition to 15 rebounds and four blocks. He has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last nine times he's played.

Tempe's record is now 11-15. As for Desert Sunrise, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Tempe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Desert Sunrise, they will welcome Coronado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
