Roseburg had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt South Medford on Tuesday. The Indians put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp  11-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jasmine Morales was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs and two  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Roseburg let  Terra Singleton and  Danika Opp run wild. Singleton  went 4-for-5 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base, while  Opp  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  four  RBI gave  Opp a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Masyn Tabor, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Roseburg  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .525. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  contests.
Roseburg has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for South Medford, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roseburg is set to  challenge  their familiar foe North Medford  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, South Medford will  face off against  rival Sheldon  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
