Jordan is a perfect 10-0 against Hillside since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will host the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hillside will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Jordan extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. Jordan blew past Green Hope 13-5.

Jordan let Kylie Specht and Sydney Cornwell run wild. Specht went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Cornwell went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Cornwell has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Lucia Terruso was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Hillside can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Southeast Raleigh. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hornets needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Tierney Bailey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That hit marked the first that she allowed this season. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maliya Blandford, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Robinson, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Hillside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .784. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Jordan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Hillside, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Jordan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Hillside struggles in that department as they've averaged .422. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Jordan's way against Hillside in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Jordan made off with a 20-4 victory. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
