Edison is 8-2 against Falls Church since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Edison Eagles will be playing at home against the Falls Church Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edison has three straight victories, Falls Church has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Edison got the win against Justice by a conclusive 56-30. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wolves are ranked 357th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Falls Church was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 57-56 to Lewis.

Edison has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Falls Church, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Edison took their win against Falls Church in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 66-46. Will Edison repeat their success, or does Falls Church have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
