Volleyball Recap: American Takes a Loss

American was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans, falling 3-0. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-17.

American's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American will take on Norland at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they will face off against Dr. Krop at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
