Football Game Preview: Griffith Panthers vs. Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors

The Griffith Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Griffith has six straight wins, Hammond Bishop Noll has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Griffith gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They put the hurt on Wheeler with a sharp 34-10 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hammond Bishop Noll came up short against Boone Grove on Friday and fell 21-14.

Hammond Bishop Noll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Griffith, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Griffith against Hammond Bishop Noll in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
