Basketball Recap: North Comes Up Short

If North was riding high fresh off their 75-33 takedown of Milwaukee Marshall last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Blue Devils took an 87-82 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hamilton/Audubon. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (75), the Blue Devils still had to take the loss.

North dropped their record down to 6-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points over those games. As for Hamilton/Audubon, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hamilton/Audubon beat North by a score of 87-82 on Tuesday.
