Volleyball Game Preview: Castle Park Trojans vs. Southwest SD Raiders

Castle Park hasn't had much luck against Southwest SD recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chula Vista. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Southwest SD's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against San Ysidro, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-20.

Castle Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Southwest SD, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-11.
