Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Makes It 12 in a Row on the Road

Mishawaka Marian extended their road winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Prescott Horvath. The Mishawaka Marian Knights secured a 61-56 W over the Elkhart Lions on Thursday thanks in part to Horvath, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

William Owens was another key player, putting up eight points along with six steals and five rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Mishawaka Marian's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Elkhart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Mishawaka Marian will square off against Culver Academies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mishawaka Marian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season. As for Elkhart, they will take on Michigan City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhart is facing Michigan City at the right time seeing as Michigan City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
