Volleyball Recap: Union Bobcats vs. Burns Hilanders
Union came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Burns Hilanders. The Bobcats have struggled against the Hilanders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Burns' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Temple, who had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Temple has posted since back in November of 2024. Taylor Trent was another key player, getting 23 assists.
Union now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Burns, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Looking ahead, Union will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Pine Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burns, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Columbia on the 6th.
