Softball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seaholm/Groves Maples. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Fighting Irish have suffered since May 15, 2025.

Notre Dame Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Seaholm/Groves, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Notre Dame Prep has already played their next game (against Groves), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Seaholm/Groves, they will challenge Lamphere at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
