Connor Wood posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Lewis & Clark back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Wood's effort led Gonzaga Prep over Lewis & Clark and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bullpups are a perfect 10-0 against the Tigers going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
