Softball Recap: Berkley Comes Up Short

Berkley managed to slip by Bloomfield Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Black Hawks on Thursday, falling 17-2. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Brooke Schall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Berkley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12-1. As for Bloomfield Hills, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

While Berkley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
