Basketball Recap: Eupora Comes Up Short

Eupora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Philadelphia Tornadoes. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 60-54 to the Tornadoes when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eupora's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Philadelphia, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Eupora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-54 victory against Velma Jackson on the 16th. As for Philadelphia, they have also already played their next game, a 57-46 defeat against East Webster on the 16th.
