Recap: Portal vs. Montgomery County
After a string of three wins, the Portal Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Montgomery County by a score of 2-1. Portal was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Montgomery County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

As for Montgomery County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Treutlen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery County is facing Treutlen at the right time seeing as Treutlen is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
